Bringing in The Year of Positivity

Saturday, December 31st, 2011

positivityLet’s go through the upcoming year remembering it is The Year of Positivity.

From time to time, take a step back and review the tone with which you frame things.  Remember the blog about two dots (facts) and how you connect the dots of your life within your heart and mind?  Attitude is a habit.  This is the year to establish the healthy habit of positivity.  Connect the dots of your world in a positive manner.

This is not to encourage oblivion.  Not at all.  It is to see with eyes wide open, constructively wide open.  I am talking about culturing a state of physiology.  An acid stomach is upset by nearly everything that is consumed.  The same is true of the heart and mind.  It is just that simple.  How do you digest life?  Did you know that Soma (the nectar of life) is the product of healthy digestion?  Health is cultivated.  A positive approach is a healthy approach.  It’s just that simple.

Everyone wants to be happy.  Happiness comes from inside, not outside.  It is a mentality.  It is a state of physiology. Happiness is the state of spontaneously connecting the dots of your life in a constructive manner.   It is cultivated through a positive attitude toward life.  Happiness is not a belief system.  It is not a set of circumstances.  It is a state of physiology cultivated largely by how you connect the dots of your life.  Your mind is powerful.

As my father used to say,  ”Count your blessings.”   Is the cup of your life half empty or half full?  The best way to fill your cup is through a positive approach.  How do you spontaneously frame things in your heart and mind?  This is not to be explored as a way of grading yourself. It is an invitation to embrace and live a healthy, rather than an unhealthy, life.  Create that healthy habit.  It is something cultivated through inspiration, not self-judgment.  Inspire yourself to aspire to the greatness of positivity.  The lotus flower rises out of the muddy swamp.

The color of your glasses determines the color with which you paint all of your life experiences.  You create your world in the form of how you perceive it.  Perception is a habit.  Meditation is your most powerful tool for evolution.  However, clinging to old unconstructive habits is a drag on the process.   Let’s create a beautiful world in 2012, the Year of Positivity.

It is in this context that I wish you all a very HAPPY New Year!!!!

Sreesailam

The Pandits completed the 11 days at Rameshvaram and are now at Sreesailam in AndhraPradesh.  Two stories follow. Coincidence or magical? You can decide. They are certainly true.

One day in Rameshvaram it was raining and raining all day long.  After ceremonies, the Pandits went for supper.  While at supper, the rain became so strong that the roads were not passable.  The Pandits could not return to the hotel.  They decided to pray to Lord Shiva.  Immediately after the prayer ended, the rain remarkably stopped!  The moment the pandits returned to their hotel, the rain started again and did not stop all through the night and the entire next day.

More recently, they arrived at the next jyotirlinga, Sreesailam, only to find no rooms or puja halls available for rent, as it is tourist season.  They stood amidst scores of visitors wondering what to do. A stranger approached them and they told him about me, the MMWPP, and their trouble finding rooms.  He told them not to worry and to follow him.  Remarkably, without delay, he found a puja hall for them and took them to a hotel with rooms available.  After signing for the rooms, the pandits turned around to thank the man. He was nowhere to be found.  The pandits were staggered.  It was as if he had vanished into thin air.

lingas

Clay lingas at Rameshvaram.

At each jyotirlinga, the pandits make 365 small lingas out of mud every day for 11 days. After the 11 days of ceremony, the 4015 lingas (11 x 365) are put into a nearby river to dissolve and wash away.  A Kalash (container) of water from the ceremonies is brought to the jyotirlinga and poured over it.

We all know that different things all have their own unique feeling.  Some call that an ‘energy’ or ‘vibration.’  The ‘serpent power’ that moves up the spine is called kundalini.  This kundalini energy is the power to create, dissolve, and recreate the universe.  Very powerful!  The mud to make the lingas needs to be of that vibration. Therefore, the pandits use mud from snake holes to make the lingas.  That is certainly a fascinating example of mapping.  Yes??

We thank all who have contributed to help support the MMWPP.  Find out how you can JOIN THE PROJECT and have your name included in the ceremonies at each Jyotirlinga.

Jai Siva Sankara!!

Merry Christmas

Merry ChristmasThe deep beautiful feelings underlying Christmas are universal.  All rejoice and are humbled before such exquisite feelings.  Such sublime feelings emanate from the best of who and what we are.  It matters not if one is Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, or atheist in this regard.  Divinity is universal.

Did you know that all across the world people of all faiths happily wish one and other a Merry Christmas?  No matter who you are or what you believe about history or circumstance, it is essential to take time out along the way to rejoice and recognize the essence of Christmas.

Admittedly, much of what Christmas is on the surface is cultural and arbitrary.  But what Christmas is at its depth is humanity’s lifeblood.  It is more essential than air, food, and water.  Indeed, it outlives the body.  It is the Song of the Soul.  Without the deep feelings that we renew on Christmas, life withers on the vine.  A life dedicated to that essence is a life well lived.

No matter what your religion, even if it is non-religion, this is true.  Only the words, which dwell on the surface may vary and be debated. To renew and enliven those feelings is to feed the soul.  It gives life meaning.  It is life’s meaning.

So it is with heartfelt dedication to all humanity that I wish you a Very Merry Christmas!!  God Bless you, one and all.

The Light of Life

Saturday, December 24th, 2011

fireI remember.  It was the morning of Christmas Eve.  I was around seven or eight years old.  I climbed up on a stool to look out the playroom window.  A blanket of snow, glistening like diamonds, covered the neighborhood lawns.  The sky was clear and the darkness of night had nearly given way to a blue, blue sky.  Looking up I saw only one lone bright star in the sky.  It immediately captured my being.  It spoke to me through the feeling it invoked.  The star pointed in a direction, the direction my life would go.

I cannot recall if it was in that moment or later that I called it my Star of Bethlehem.  What is your Star of Bethlehem?  Some things touch your soul so deeply that the meaning they invoke far surpasses any literal interpretation ascribable to it.

Your life’s purpose is simple to know.  Just follow that star, wherever it may lead.

Have a Lovely Christmas.

ANSWER: What is a Galaxy?

Thursday, December 22nd, 2011

starsA Galaxy is a Cosmic Chakra.  Chakras are marmas.  Acupuncture points are marmas. A marma is a convergence point of energy the acts as an intersection, switch board, and power station for the body.

The universe is a cosmic body.  The universe is composed of an infinite number of such marmas on many, many different scales.  Black holes are marmas.  Even water spinning down a drain is a marma of sorts.

The sun is a marma.  Energy converges upon that point.  Marmas are the nodes that hold the lattice structure together and give it structure.

Just look at a picture of a galaxy.  It looks like what it is.  It is a chakra.  Everything maps. Everything is interconnected.  To heal one thing is to heal everything.  Some small shift happens everywhere when a shift occurs anywhere.

When you look at the moon, do you see a sliver in the sky?  Or do you see a ball with a light shining on it?

To see ‘what is’ requires one and only one thing: Simple Innocence.

Based upon my lectures/blogs, what is this a picture of?

HINT: Look at the picture and imagine the universe as a 3-dimensional structure (Riemann sphere).

Remember: All knowledge dwells within you.

Art

Monday, December 19th, 2011

The following quote I found lovely.

The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inner significance. – Aristotle

Middle School Holiday Concert

Then I realized this is true for all of life.
Life is art.
It dances upon the matrix of the scientific, which we call existence.
We are here to explore the nature of our life and existence.

When the Master was asked, “Why did the Absolute manifest?” he responded,
“To explore the grandeur of its own true nature”.
That eternal question can be answered many other equally valid ways.
Therein lie the art and the science of all that is.

Do not lose yourself to the surface.
The depth is what gives your life meaning.
There we meet, in perfect harmony.

Proclaiming 2012 The Year of Positivity

Saturday, December 17th, 2011

shoreWe have done well.  Through many years of dedication, the light of life is shining forth.

When you clean your home, dust is naturally stirred.  Similarly, the purification of heart and mind stirs the dust, which can be experienced as negative thoughts and emotions.  That is why negativity is sometimes experienced through the purification process.  As the Unified Field Generator of Mount Soma continues to manifest, purification rises.  It is as if we are riding a bigger and bigger bull as time goes by. This process will carry our world to an Enlightened Age.

When you first put you toe in a bathtub of warm water, it can feel too hot.  After a time in the tub however, it is soothing and warm. As you purify a deeper level of your being, there may be a period of roughness or negativity.  Know the negativity that comes up to be purification.  At times it may even feel extreme.  Knowing it for what it is will greatly help you navigate the waters of your evolution.

Fortunately, we have now broken through the surface!  It is like a spaceship piercing the atmosphere during re-entry. We are now entering a stage of great positivity for the world.  By keeping your attention there, it will come more quickly. We can all offer our gratitude to those pioneers who ‘broke the ice’ of re-entry.  The dust will clear away now.  Any negative thoughts or feelings are a waste of time.  Do not suppress them.  If you do, they will stay with you longer.  But it is very important that you do not dwell on them.  Just brush them out of your mind as you would a piece of lint floating around your head.

Monitor your thinking.  It creates your world.  Choose the positive.  If you have through the years taken on a negative viewpoint of the world, take a deeper look within.  Evolve your thinking.  This is not to be oblivious.  It is only to put all things in the proper context.  We have arrived at a time where this can be done.  You only need to decide to do so. Divinity is the essence of all things.  That is simply the truth of how life is.  Know the dust for what it is.  Do not lose yourself to dust.  You are one with God.

Remember: When a great Master was asked what keeps a person from knowing God, he responded, “Negative thoughts.”

We have arrived at The Shore of the Age of Enlightenment.  Time to take leave of the old tattered vessel that has carried you here.

2012 is The Year of Positivity.

“Few are those who see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts.”  – Einstein

monkeysThe world is not as you have been lead to believe.  When you see and feel past the veil of what appears to be, you see that you are the backdrop of all that is.  You are one with the Divine.

Simple in concept.  Highly elusive in direct knowing.

Even these words are not perceived for what they are until that time comes.  Yet it is that longing to see past the veil that keeps you going until the moment of transformation arrives.

As Ananda Mayi Ma said, “The longing for God, is in and of itself, the path to God.”  The longing is like gravity, which returns every drop of water back to the ocean guaranteed.  It is only a matter of time, how long you hold on to conditioned thoughts and feelings – even the thoughts and feeling of God.

When you become enlightened, everything changes in an instant.  It comes about gradually, but then all of a sudden. Echoes of truth, perceived as truth, hold truth at bay.  Look beyond what you currently believe.  Current beliefs are the chains that bind you.  Humility is the flip side of wisdom. Receive this as inspiration and you are well on your way. Keep going.

The Kingdom of Heaven awaits you.
