- From I-40 West
- Take exit 24, Highway 209
- Turn RIGHT/north toward Hot Springs onto NC-209
- Go 2.3 miles and turn RIGHT onto Upper Crabtree Road
- Go 2.1 miles and turn LEFT onto Bald Creek Road
- Continue on Bald Creek Road for approximately 4.4 miles
- Follow signs to the gate at Mount Soma

- From Interstate I-40 West
- Take Exit 31/Canton
- Turn LEFT on Champion Drive/NC-215
- At the light in front of Ingles turn RIGHT onto Thickety Road
- Continue straight and it becomes Crabtree Mountain Road
- At the fork keep LEFT to continue on Crabtree Mountain Road
- Continue approximately 5 miles until the road ends at Upper Crabtree Road
- Turn LEFT and take an immediate right onto Bald Creek Road
- Continue on Bald Creek Road for approximately 4.4 miles
- Follow signs to the gate at Mount Soma

- Take Exit 104 NC-209 Toward Lake Junaluska/Hot Springs
- Turn LEFT onto NC-209
- Continue to follow NC-209 for 6.1 miles
- Turn RIGHT onto Upper Crabtree Road
- Go 2.1 miles and turn LEFT onto Bald Creek Road
- Continue on Bald Creek Road for approximately 4.4 miles
- Follow signs to the Mount Soma Gate
