Why Surya Meditation?

What makes the Surya Meditation different?  There are numerous meditation programs available in contemporary society. Many impose a conditioning or unnatural programming upon the mind. Rather than focusing, controlling, concentrating, or visualizing to gain mastery over the awareness, Surya Meditation simply gives our consciousness the space to self-correct and rest into its true exquisite nature.

Glossary of Terms

YOU-FIGURE-IT-OUT-APPROACH The approach to spiritual teaching in which the teacher freely behaves and speaks the way he does while it is the student’s responsibility to observe and learn. If something is not consistent with the student’s identity, the student figures it out, works through it, and moves beyond that identity. In this manner, discernment is cultivated. At some point in the student/teacher relationship, this approach is necessary because, “The Self is revealed to the self, by the self, and through the self.”
