Preconceived Notions of Enlightenment with Michael Mamas
Michael Mamas received the following question:
" I’ve been thinking about the idea of enlightenment. I don’t know what exactly enlightenment means or how it manifests in a person’s life."
His response:
My flippant, but sincere response to that is: You’re better off than most people who think they know about enlightenment. You have a better chance of getting an understanding of it. Really, what most people think about enlightenment is all based on their preconceived notions of what they think their life will look like. Those preconceived notions are not the notions of an enlightened individual.
