Reviving the Knowledge of Religion
with Michael Mamas

In ancient times, there was a great saint named, Adi Shankara, who said that spiritual Knowledge needs to be purified every generation. Because the Knowledge is subtle, it gets lost. This also applies to religion and the teachings of the Masters and the great Knowledge that they have.

People need to purify their awareness and awaken to the Truth that lies deep within their being. The most powerful tool for that is meditation. If your relationship with it is healthy, the teachings and Knowledge can help you do that. If you say “I get it” when you hear the teachings and Knowledge and don’t look beyond your level of understanding, then the teachings and Knowledge can actually prevent you from looking deeper. We need to be humble. Humility is the flip side of wisdom.
