Directions to Mount Soma
For the safetly of everyone, we ask that you please observe the posted speed limit coming and going from Mount Soma.
Since Mount Soma is so new, GPS cannot be used.
From Asheville
- From I-40 West
- Take exit 24, Highway 209
- Turn RIGHT/north toward Hot Springs onto NC-209. Go 2.3 miles and turn RIGHT onto Upper Crabtree Road
- Go 2.1 miles and turn LEFT onto Bald Creek Road
- Continue on Bald Creek Road for approximately 4.4 miles
- Follow signs to the gate at Mount Soma
- Sri Somesvara is about a half a mile down on the right of the main road. You can’t miss it.
From Waynesville
- From US-23/US-74 Great Smoky Mountain Expressway
- Take Exit 104 NC-209 Toward Lake Junaluska/Hot Springs
- Turn LEFT onto NC-209
- Continue to follow NC-209 for 6.1 miles
- Turn RIGHT onto Upper Crabtree Road
- Go 2.1 miles and turn LEFT onto Bald Creek Road
- Continue on Bald Creek Road for approximately 4.4 miles
- Follow signs to the Mount Soma Gate
- Sri Somesvara is about a half a mile down on the right of the main road. You can’t miss it.
