There is a Vedic legend or myth about a magical crow. This crow was going into the farmers’ fields, destroying the crops, and making different kinds of trouble. So, the farmers would try to attack the crow or catch the crow, but when they got near it, it disappeared. They were flabbergasted and didn’t know what to do. So the story goes, they went to some aspect of God, I think it was Lord Shiva, and they said, “What is going on? Please help us out.”
